Men's Ministry

Gilead PWC Men of God meet once a month (3rd Saturday) for a Men's Fellowship.

The Men’s Ministry exists to prepare Christian men to fulfill the roles God has designed for them, equipping them to be spiritual leaders in their homes, churches, and communities. The ultimate goal is to “present every man perfect in Christ Jesus” (Colossians 1:28). Through this ministry, we aim to inspire men to grow in their faith, embrace their calling, and walk boldly in their God-given purpose.

Building strong men in God is a foundational pillar of the Men’s Ministry. We seek to cultivate warriors and mighty men who stand firm in faith and courage. Just as David’s mighty men demonstrated extraordinary strength and loyalty in 2 Samuel 23:8-39, and as Joshua was commanded to be strong and courageous in Joshua 1:9, we challenge men to rise above fear and uncertainty to fulfill God’s mission. Through prayer, teaching, and mentorship, we empower men to face life’s challenges with the confidence that comes from their identity in Christ.

Another vital aspect of the Men’s Ministry is the healing and support of men as they grow in love and faith. Recognizing the pressures and wounds that many men carry, we create a safe and supportive environment for healing and restoration. Guided by Micah 6:8, which calls us to “act justly, love mercy, and walk humbly with our God,” we encourage men to embrace vulnerability and extend compassion to themselves and others. This nurturing approach fosters spiritual and emotional growth, enabling men to reflect Christ’s love in their lives.

Building strong leaders is central to the mission of the Men’s Ministry. We aim to equip men with the tools and wisdom to lead their families with integrity and faith. Psalm 127 emphasizes the importance of a strong foundation in the home, while Ephesians 5:25 calls men to love their wives as Christ loved the church. Through biblical teaching and practical guidance, we prepare men to guide their families in love, discipline, and spiritual growth, becoming the cornerstone of their households.

Finally, the Men’s Ministry trains men to function effectively in the kingdom of God. Drawing from 1 Peter 5:8-9, we teach the importance of vigilance and standing firm in faith, while Mark 10:43-45 reminds us that true leadership comes through servanthood. By equipping men to serve with humility and purpose, we empower them to be impactful leaders in the church and beyond. This training ensures that men are not only prepared for their earthly responsibilities but are also aligned with God’s eternal mission for His kingdom.
